Partner With Bear Proof Guide
People come to us when they are ready to buy something that has to survive a real bear. If you make, sell, haul, or regulate bear-resistant products, we would like to hear from you.
Who we work with
Makers of bear-proof trash cans, dumpsters, enclosures, coolers, canisters, and locks.
Regional sellers who can quote and deliver certified products to local buyers.
Waste haulers, property managers, and HOA service companies that specify bear-proof gear.
Wildlife agencies and bear-education groups with data, corrections, or resources to share.
Three ways to partner
Get your certified products listed, and listed correctly
FreeWe list a product only if it appears on an official certification list, such as the IGBC list for grizzly-resistant products or the WMI/SEAFWA list for black-bear-resistant ones. Send us a certification number or a correction and we check it against the official list, update the page, and record the change on our How We Verify page.
Receive quote requests from real buyers
Lead routingHOAs, campgrounds, parks, and cities use our For Business page to ask for volume pricing. We pass each request to the manufacturer that fits. If you are a dealer or distributor who can serve a specific region, tell us where. We are building that network now.
Ask about a sponsorship
LabeledIf you want to be seen alongside the guides and comparisons, tell us what you have in mind and we will talk about what fits. Anything we agree is clearly marked as sponsored and kept separate from certification data.
What stays off the table
Our value to buyers is that nothing here can be bought. So no partnership, paid or not, will:
- list a product as certified when it is not on an official list,
- change how a product ranks in the Product Finder or comparisons,
- remove a factual note about a claim we could not verify, or
- come with a promise about search rankings or traffic.
Bear Proof Guide launched in September 2026. We would rather show you real numbers than round-up ones, so we do not publish traffic claims on this page. Ask and we will tell you where things stand.
What happens after you reach out
The form below takes about a minute. If it is about a product, a certification number helps.
We compare anything you send against the official IGBC and WMI/SEAFWA lists before we change a page.
A real person answers, usually with a few questions or a concrete proposal. No obligation either way.
